Project Type Anatomy Poster

Class Design I 

For this project, I created a vertical poster highlighting the typographic anatomy of each letter for an assigned word using Illustrator. My word was Miniature. We were only allowed to use type, along with any color of our choice. The final design was influenced by my assigned word. 

The design represents toy figurines for kids which are usually miniature replicas of bigger things such as houses, people, and animals. The colors display the playful and colorful world kids tend to create while playing. When I think of kids playing with toys I think of cute, playful, colorful, and messy. This is why I used different colors, shapes, sizes, and two different typefaces for this poster. 

My inner child had a lot of fun with this one!
