For this project, I was assigned to create a series of emotional expressions using one color and no additional elements. My assigned color was Spring Bud and my randomly assigned emotion was Ecstasy. While I was only allowed to use one color, I was required to use tints and shades of that same color. All the illustrations used are hand drawn and manipulated in Illustrator. 

 

I represented the emotion with different types of ecstasy. Such as ecstasy as a spiritual journey, psychological ecstasy, sexual ecstasy, and psychoactive drugs. The patterns represent that feeling of being out of touch with reality which can be overwhelming or sometimes even calming.
